Jeff Haseltine here owner & operator of Jeff’s Good Works LLC. If you’re anything like me, I am already looking over my wife Darla’s mile long “honey do” list for the fall.
I’m slowly sipping my morning coffee, breaking out the desk calculator (yes, I still have one of these) & I'm taking a big, deep breath to see what we can accomplish in a “realistic” time frame. I’m prioritizing, budgeting, picking material & creating a plan of action for household repairs & remodels.
At the top of my wife’s list is THE kitchen. If you could have seen me a few weeks ago, I was taking intense inhales & exhales along with an even bigger gulp of coffee paired with a long, deep "sighhhh"....
I know this would take some thoughtfulness & time, but this is important to Darla & therefore; it's important to me.
I'm so happy to report, we got 'er done! Check it out:
A few interesting notes about this project is that my wife & I had to work together to pick out a custom color through Hershfield for commercial spray. We settled on scandinavian blue, which I personally think looks great. It's a beautiful pop of color to contrast our log home.
Hershfeild also recommended we have a specific yellow base so that there would be no bleed through due to the knotty pine material we were working with. We also worked together to completely restore our knotty pine countertops. I am sharing this because this is a crucial point of WHY you want to work with a professional when it comes to home projects.
The nice thing about planning these projects for my loving wife Darla is that she doesn’t have to think twice about who is coming to her home. It’s a mental refreshment to know her husband (me) and her son Paul (my right-hand man) will be taking care of what needs to get done.
Wouldn’t it be nice to provide the same mental refreshment for you? Wouldn’t it be nice to know exactly who is coming in or around your home to work?
I don’t know about you, but I always like a little bit of insight into the people I am choosing to work with; especially when it involves someone coming to my private property. My son Paul & I work together on the majority of home repairs & remodels & we’d love to provide some FUN insight into who we are! We value your trust & we will do what we can to earn it.

Christmas Eve.
What does your morning routine consist of?
Spending time with the Lord sipping coffee, eating eggs mixed with cheese from our chickens, planning for the day ahead & then leaving for work.
Describe your perfect day:
Sleeping in, listening to worship music, eating a nice meat lovers’ omelet with pancakes, going cross country skiing with my wife, warming up in the sauna, followed by a nap, relaxing and watching a movie & then to end the night with a nice dinner with Darla, red wine in hand, surrounded by all my kids & grandkids. Oh, and stay up late too.
